See The ZPEG Visual Advantage
Provide a file name accessible as an internet-linked file (http or ftp, for example). Files provided as a link may be up to 40GB in size.
The results of this demonstration will be files compressed as follows:
- Raw video compressed to the target bandwidth. This is the gold standard against which the quality of the other renderings will be judged.
- Pre-Processed video compressed to the optimal bandwidth. Pre-processing improves the compressability of the video such that an equal-quality stream takes less bandwidth. That extra compression boost can be calculated by the quality savings produced by the pre-processor.
- Raw video compressed at the optimal bandwidth. This directly shows the quality advantage of the pre-processed stream over the raw stream.
- Pre-processed video at target bandwidth. This shows the effect of the pre-processor at the same target bandwidth as the gold standard above.
